Adult Christian LearningLocation of Rooms are indicated by East or West ends of the building. The stair wells are at the Ninth Street doors on the East and the Glenbrook entrance by the office. An elevator and stairs are located in the center of the building at the back of the Garden Room behind the Coffee Bar.

Friends In Faith — Room Lower West 21
A friendly and engaging group of married and single adults in their 20s and 30s with and without children. As a class we strive to grow through discussion-oriented, Bible-based curriculum, and an active fellowship/support system. We are committed to building, growing and having fun in the process.
CREDO (Young and Faithful) — Room Lower West 16
College age students who gather Sunday mornings for biblical teaching and discussion of current events. The class will begin meeting for the summer on May 23 at 9:30 a.m. A summer mission trip is being planned for this summer so look for more information under the menu bar “Happening Now”.
CROSSroads Class - Room 120/122
We are extremely pleased to announce the launching of a new young adults Sunday School Class, CROSSroads! A community of younger adults & younger marrieds are coming together with the goal of becoming FUMC’s newest class. Persons & couples in their mid-20’s to the early-30’s are warmly encouraged to seek out their places in this new group, in room 120/122 on the first floor. Christian Singles Unlimited — Room 119
Offering God’s love and support in a Christian family environment for all singles. Emphasis is on study and a variety of activities for singles.
Community of Christians — Room Lower West 23A community of young Christians (20’s and 30’s) seeking fellowship with other fun, young people who are dedicated to discovering their faith in order to enrich their relationships with their friends and Christ. Whether you are newly married, new to parenthood, single, or a family new to the area, ALL are welcome. To find us from the 9th St. entrance, take the first right down the stairs and we are the last room on the left.
New Directions — Room Lower East 14
This is a lively, discussion-oriented class with the mission of serving Christ through education, fellowship, and community service. Teachers change monthly and we enjoy frequent social events. Members are couples and singles both with and without children.
Young @ Heart Disciples — Room 104
Married and single adults age 40s and 50s. Lessons include Bible studies, current events, public interest and just plain fun. Mission outreach and socials occur regularly.
Partners In Christ — Room 113
A class of singles and couples aged 40s and 50s, who enjoy Christian fellowship. Lessons include Christian social concerns and Bible studies.

Bible Bunch — Room 127
Open to all regardless of age or stage, the focus of this class is weekly Bible study geared to practical application and includes weekly study time. Diversity, sharing, and discussion are honored.
Everyday Christians — Room 103/105
Our class is composed of a variety of adults. Some are single, but most are married. Most of us have grown children. Many members of the class have grandchildren. We sing, have a devotion, share joys & concerns as well as have a lesson each Sunday. We like to get together outside of class, too. On the third Monday of each month we go out to dinner. We believe that we can nurture, care for, and learn from each other. We believe that this calling is not meant for Sunday only, but rather it is to be carried out every day.
George Topper Class — Room 117
Lessons led by the retired Rev. George Topper, a beloved teacher known for his wit and willingness to highlight God’s grace at work in our lives. Comprised of couples/singles in the 70+ age range who are ready to welcome new comers.
Koinonia — Room Lower East 10
Mature adults, both singles and couples interested in sharing Christ’s love in experiences and ideas. Education is self-taught from class members and church leaders. Social activities are on a monthly basis and consist of home gatherings, theater outings, mystery trips, ball games, and restaurants.
John Markley — Schreiber Hall Main Hallway
A friendly and supportive community for couples and singles aged 60 and above. The class averages 35 in attendance; singing and sharing over coffee and goodies are followed by the lesson. The class was named for the late Navy chaplain and teacher John Markley.
Lydia Mood — Room 106
A friendly group of adults ages 60 to 75 whose Sunday curriculum includes Bible study, social issues, and lively discussions. Monthly social gatherings are part of the curriculum.
TGIS (Thank God It’s Sunday) – Room LE12
Married and single adults ages 40′s & 50′s. Study the Bible and Christian principles as they relate to our lives and the world today.
Tom Steely – Room 125
Ages 70 & up – Tom Steely leads discussion of the International Lesson series.

Wednesday Windows
Each Wednesday evening from late August through the middle of May, the church family gathers to share a meal and enjoy a variety of programs aimed at Christian learning. The meal prepared by staff and volunteers begins serving at 5:30 p.m. The cost is minimal and limited for if you have four plus in your family.
A variety of musical activities for children follow the meal. Children of all ages and talent are encouraged to participate in the choir program of our church.
