Living Faith and Serving People

Living Faith and Serving people encompasses what we do on Sunday morning and throughout the week as disciples of Jesus Christ called Methodist. Living Faith is about how we express our love for God, encourage one another in their faith, pray for one another during good and hard times, share our understanding of the faith in small groups, and live committed lives by practicing discipline and prayer.

Serving People is at the core of our faith and one of the key principles of Methodist since the time of founder John Wesley.  As disciples following in the steps of Jesus we encourage everyone  to have a personal mission to touch people’s lives and hopefully provide a means whereby others will experience the life changing love of God.  This aspect of the Christian life is emphasized at every age level as we work to educate our children, youth, and adults through the programming ministries.  You’ll see this emphasis in such efforts as Hope Clinic, the Recreational Outreach Center, God’s Old Geezers, summer mission trips, Relay for Life, and the list just keeps growing.
