  • TWENTY-THREE  SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED

    FUMC  awarded scholarships to twenty-three high school seniors and  undergraduate students who are a part of our church family.  These are given to recognize & encourage students as they continue their education  on the college level.  Each student receives the same dollar amount regardless  of grades, school choice or parent’s income  -  this year it is $450.

    These scholarships have been established in memory of,  or in honor of  very special FUMC people:     Grady Cooper,  Evelyn Hollenshead,  John  Markley,  Lynette Miller,  Grace & Ollie Ashley.

    2011  Recipients  are:

    Ashley  Scholarship  -   Brittnee  Feldman

    John Markley Scholarships  -  Jacob  Elsner  and  Maggie  Jenkins

    Lynette Miller Scholarship -  Robyn  Bashaw

    Evelyn Hollenshead Scholarship  -  Charlotte Bishop,  Victoria Bishop, Bret Butler,  Katie Butler,  Killian  Cooley, Connor Elliott,  Brett Feldman, Brook  Feldman
